MLOA will be hosting a two-session boys lacrosse virtual training in the next few weeks. If you plan on officiating boys lacrosse at the youth or HS level for the 2022 season, you will need to attend these training sessions. We will be discussing 2- and 3-man mechanics, along with pre-games, mentorship, and continued training opportunities as the season progresses.
Hank Friedman a long-time NILOA and LORADO/USL Certified Trainer official from New Mexico will be conducting the training. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best in the game.
As a friendly reminder, please access your USL account to renew your membership, complete your background check, and complete the rules exam for your level of officiating. All officials need to have their tests completed by March 23rd so games can start to be assigned.
The Montana Lacrosse Officials Association has the purpose to recruit, train, and retain qualified officials for sanctioned men’s, boys’, women’s, and girls’ lacrosse games or related events.
We provide education, training, and a positive environment for our officials. Our goal is to retain officials, grow the organization, and assist with the growth of the sport of lacrosse in Montana and the region.
MLOA is a 501 (c) (3) organization.
